It’s Wednesday and most of us are just living for the weekend, am I right!? I don’t know about you, but a little mid-week motivation is necessary! I read a quote recently that stuck with me and it said, “The difference between a good day and a bad day is your attitude.”
I know, I know, it sounds so cliche, and yes, there are some truly bad days that you wouldn’t even wish on others (loss of many different forms, finding out about an illness, death, etc). BUT, and that’s a big but, MOST days really aren’t that bad! In fact, there’s a whole heck of a lot to be thankful for in each day!!
Whenever I’m in a funk, I can quickly come out of it by getting into gratitude mode. Listing the things I’m thankful for, calling someone to let them know how much they mean, complimenting the check out person at the store, etc.
There is so much we can’t control, but you know what we can control?? This little list below! Hard work beats talent when talent doesn’t work. You can beat the most talented person out there if you out work them! You can fully control the 10 things on this list, and when you are in control of those, WATCH OUT!
So if you’re in a funk this mid-week, if you’re feeling blue, or down in the dumps, I challenge you to get after gratitude & focus on these things that you can control!! Happy Wednesday!
