Dr. Amy Bullock, physical therapist and owner of Fortress Physical Therapy, LLC, obtains an educational background in physical therapy and athletic training with emphasis in functional fitness and nutrition. In 2009, Dr. Bullock received her bachelor’s in athletic training from West Virginia Wesleyan College. After undergraduate school, she received her master’s degree in adapted physical activity at Slippery Rock University and then later attended the University of Findlay where she received her doctor of physical therapy degree in 2013. From 2017-2018, Dr. Bullock furthered her educational pathway through the American Academy Manipulative Therapy and obtained her Diploma of Osteopractic and Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapists credential. Dr. Bullock’s special interests within the physical therapy field include analysis/treatments of movement dysfunctions, neck/low back pain, spinal manipulation, dry needling and sports/wellness rehabilitation. When Dr. Bullock is not working within the clinic, she serves as an AAMT mentor to future fellows-in-training and also serves as a CrossFit coach at CrossFit Pineville. In her spare time she enjoys family, friends, the outdoors, the beach, competing in local CrossFit competitions and relaxing while binging on Netflix.
